Add a ride

A service must have at least one ride but it can have more than one.

If you want to plan the schedule of your ride based on location, you can visit here

To add a ride, you can click on the button named “Add a ride” at the bottom of the page, just above the save button. As soon as you click on the button, a rectangle card will appear above the button, containing the data of a new ride.

At the top-left corner of the card, you can find the start and end date and time of the ride. These dates and times will be used to calculate the invoice hours and driver working hours.

“Service Number” is the identification number of the ride for the driver. This number will be shown to the driver to complete the ride.

“Reference” is the identification number of the ride for billing purposes. This number will be displayed on your billing summary and is the number that your client uses while processing your invoice. You can find a service by searching the reference number of its ride in the search bar, at the top-right corner of the screen.

You can set a fixed invoice hours for the ride. If you provide fixed hours, the entered value will be used to calculate the income of the service while the driver's working hours will still be calculated using the start and end times.

Please note that if you enter a fixed invoice hours for any of the rides of a service, the pause time will be ignored while calculating the revenue. The fixed hour won't affect the driver's working hours and the pause time will still be calculated for the driver.

You can set the distance of the ride in KM. Regardless of the number of rides you have, the distances of all rides will be summed up to calculate the revenue. You can find the total number of the KMs just below the hourly rates.

Every ride might require an internal remark or explanation. You can use the note of the ride for that purpose. The content of this input is private to the employees and it won't be shown to the driver or the customer.
