Add your customers

The next step is to add your customers. You can have an unlimited number of customers with individual rates and preferences. While creating a service, you need to select one of your customers that allows you to sort your services based on the selected customer.

We recommend you create a customer profile for your own company as well. Having your company in the list of customers allows you to create a service that is not related to any customer but the driver has to be paid accordingly.

E.g. A ride to the garage or the car wash.

To open the `Customers` section, open the drawer menu by clicking on the menu icon on your screen`s top-left corner and selecting the `Customers` section.

If you are not an admin user and don't see the "Customer" section, you don't have permission to access this section.

To add a new customer, click on the 'Add' button in your screen's top-right corner and enter the necessary detail.

  • 'Name': The nickname you use for the customer.
  • 'Official Name': The official name of the customer. This official name is used in the billing summary and reports.
  • 'Rates': Each customer has their own set of rates. Know more about these rates here. These rates are as follows:
    • 'Weekday': The hourly rate for the weekdays
    • 'Saturday': The hourly rate for Saturdays. If omitted, the weekday rate is used.
    • 'Sunday': The hourly rate for Sundays. If omitted, the weekly rate is used.
    • 'Trailer Rate': The hourly rate for using your trailer during the weekday and Saturdays.
    • 'Trailer Sunday Rate': The hourly rate for using your trailer on Sundays.
    • 'KM': The extra rate per KM of distance in a service.

After entering the detail, click on the 'Save' button at the bottom of the form. If all the data is entered correctly, you will be redirected to the customer list where you can view the newly added customers.
