Change log

At OneTruck, we regularly release new updates to improve the users' overall experience. Even though we have a weekly update cycle, we often release multiple updates during the week to fix minor bugs and errors.

To improve communication with our users, we have decided to create a monthly release note, providing a summary of the changes made during the previous calendar month. These release notes are focused on the user-facing changes and do not contain the frequent changes we make to the technologies under the hood.

The following are the changes and improvements made in the month of July 2024


New Features

  • Admins can now give the necessary permissions to employees to access and manage the data, documents, and permissions of other employees.

Changes

  • Custom trucks/drivers/trailers are now called External trucks/drivers/trailers. The functionalities remain the same.
  • The service level Pause time has been removed in favor of the ride level Pause time. This change has made the calculation of billing and driving hours more intuitive and accurate. The overall concepts and user experience have remained similar.
  • The service level Fixed hours has been removed in favor of the ride level Fixed hours. This change has made the calculation of billing and driving hours more intuitive and accurate. The overall concepts and user experience have remained similar.

Fixes

  • The permissions of the Statistics section have been fixed. Previously, some of the employees had some difficulties accessing the statistics section while having the necessary permissions.
  • Fixed the translations of the permission section. Previously, some of the permissions had incorrect translations in German.
  • Fixed the calculation of the ending KM/Miles in the service form
  • Fixed the replacement of some non-Latin characters while sharing service with Trimble
  • Improved the validation of company data on the settings page

Improvements

  • Made various security improvements
  • The design of the rides in the service detail has been redesigned to make it easier and more intuitive to read the data.
  • The document management of the employees has been improved.
  • Improved the boarding experience of the new users
  • Improved the loading time of the application on new devices.
  • Improved the connection process between companies and their sub-contractors.
  • Improved the localization support for companies based in the US
  • Improved the layout and pagination of the search page
  • Expanded the third-party support in the self-billing section
